How to Disconnect Your Service

To disconnect service, a request must be submitted in writing at least one business day prior to the requested disconnection date. You may complete this request by stopping by our office, sending a letter or faxing us at 865-774-1649, or filling out the Natural Gas Service Disconnection Form below. You are required to provide: current address, forwarding address, requested disconnect date, account number and signature of account owner.

Legal Information:

A final bill will be generated after disconnection of service. If there is a deposit on this account, it will be applied to the final bill and/or any amount due. Any credit will be refunded by check to the account holder unless it was originally provided by an energy assistance program. Refund checks take up to 4-6 weeks to be distributed. If you owe for an appliance, it will be due in full on your final bill.
