About Us

The mission of S·C·U·D is to provide an economical and reliable source of natural gas to our customers in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

S·C·U·D was established in 1955. It is a nonprofit municipal corporation that provides natural gas to residents and businesses of Sevier County and areas of Blount County. We currently serve approximately 12,000 natural gas customers and those numbers are growing daily.

It is S·C·U·D's policy to keep customers well informed about services and to explain them fully. This website has been prepared to answer any questions you may have. Please add it to your favorites section of your browser, it may prove useful for further reference.
